Jon Baker

Jon Baker is a Wind Aeroelastics Engineering Leader at GE Vernova, where they lead the global Wind Aerodynamics team with end-to-end ownership of blade aerodynamics and turbine stability and dynamics. They previously served as a Stability, Dynamics, and Vibrations Leader and held various engineering management roles at Frontier Wind. Jon began their academic journey with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, followed by further studies in Aeronautical Engineering, culminating in a Ph.D. from the University of California, Davis. During their early career, Jon gained experience as a Graduate Research Assistant and Engineering Intern at NASA Ames Research Center.
