GE Vernova
Maxime Buquet is the GE Chief Consulting Engineer at GE Vernova, leading technical development focused on creating lower carbon, agile, and resilient power plants and grids since September 2007. With extensive experience as a consulting engineer and principal engineer across various roles, Maxime has successfully identified risks and opportunities, provided operational guidance, and led technical teams in gas turbine operability. Additionally, Maxime serves as the Head of the UTBM-GE Industrial Chair, fostering collaboration between academia and industry, and lectures on power plant fundamentals and hydrogen technologies. Maxime holds a Master of Science in Gas Turbine Technology from Cranfield University and a Master’s degree in Energy & Propulsion from INSA Rouen Normandie, complemented by a recent degree in Sustainable Transition Management from HEC Paris.
