Michael Truman

Michael Truman is a seasoned HR professional with a diverse background in various industries, currently serving as the Senior Director and HR Business Partner for Aviation, Manufacturing, and Power & Energy Software at GE Vernova since August 2022. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Senior Director, HR Business Partner for Enabling Functions at GE Digital from October 2021 to August 2022, and served as Human Resources Director for both The Americas and Corporate Functions at Herman Miller from October 2019 to October 2021. Michael's expertise includes leadership roles at GE Aviation, Whirlpool Corporation, and GE Healthcare, where responsibilities ranged from HR direction in avionics engineering to global HR partnership in magnetic resonance technology. Michael began the career journey with early experiences at Pfizer and Hilton, and holds an MA in Human Resources & Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota and a BS in Psychology from Michigan State University.
