Nawal Aseed

Nawal Aseed is a seasoned professional in data science and information technology, currently serving as the Senior Director of Data Science at GE Vernova since October 2022. In this role, Nawal is responsible for defining the strategic direction of data science initiatives and promoting AI adoption across the Power enterprise. Previously, Nawal held various positions at GE Power and GE Energy Management, including Senior Information Technology Leader and Digital Transformation Leader, where the focus was on digital transformation and optimizing business processes. Nawal's earlier experience includes managing IT business solutions as a Senior IT Program Manager at GE Energy Management and overseeing significant programs such as the implementation of the first business intelligence tool at GE Energy. Nawal holds a Master's degree in Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from Kennesaw State University.
