Raj Thakkar

Raj Thakkar is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management within the GE organization. Currently serving as Vice President & Chief Procurement Officer at GE Vernova since October 2023, Raj previously held various leadership roles at GE Power, including Vice President of Global Sourcing & Logistics and Vice President of Digital Industrial Transformation. Prior to these positions, Raj was involved in senior sourcing and quality management roles at GE, where significant contributions included overseeing sourcing and supplier quality in the Energy Management Business and executing strategic sourcing initiatives. Raj's early career at GE featured progression from Managing Shop Operations to Global Sourcing Manager, demonstrating a strong foundation in engineering and operational excellence. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Wake Forest University School of Business and a leadership program at Harvard Business School.
