Michele Garibaldi

Michele Garibaldi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and project management within additive manufacturing and digitalization. Currently serving as a Production Digitalization Project Manager at GEA Group since July 2022, Michele previously held the position of Engineering Manager at BEAMIT SPA from August 2019 to July 2022. Prior roles include Additive Manufacturing RTD Engineer at Siemens PLM Software and Marie-Curie Fellow at the University of Nottingham, where research focused on the influence of additive manufacturing on electromechanical devices. Michele's early career includes roles as a Research Engineer at CNRS and research internships in biomechanics and biophysics. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham and a Master's degree in biomechanical engineering and biomaterials from Università degli Studi di Genova. Additionally, Michele completed an Erasmus exchange program at DTU - Technical University of Denmark.
