Ulrich Braig

Ulrich Braig is an experienced human resources professional currently serving as Chief Human Resources Officer at GEA Group since February 2020. Prior to this role, Ulrich held significant positions including Head of Corporate Human Resources at Körber AG from October 2017 to January 2020, Executive Vice President Human Resources & Social Affairs at Hauni Maschinenbau GmbH from May 2011 to September 2017, and General Manager Human Resources at Windmöller & Hölscher Gruppe between May 2008 and April 2011. Ulrich began a career in HR at IBM, working as HR Manager from February 2002 to April 2008. Educational qualifications include a promotion (Dr. iur.) in Rechtswissenschaften from the University of Augsburg (2005-2007), an Executive MBA in Accounting & Controlling from the University of Münster (2009-2011), a Zweites Juristisches Staatsexamen in Rechtswissenschaften from Oberlandesgericht München (1999-2001), and an Erstes Juristisches Staatsexamen in Rechtswissenschaften from the University of Augsburg (1994-1999). Ulrich is currently pursuing further education at Stanford University Graduate School of Business since 2018.
