Mårten Silvén

Mårten Silvén currently serves as Elhandelsansvarig at Geab and holds several vice chair and board member positions at Gotlands Energi AB, Gotland Elförsäljning AB, and ALMI Invest Småland & Öarna. Mårten is also a member of the Techniska Nämnden and serves as a deputy in the regional council of Region Gotland. Previous experience includes senior roles at Mercuria Energy Trading S.A., Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch, and Entergy-Koch Trading, focusing on energy and commodity options trading. Mårten holds multiple degrees, including an M.Sc. in Engineering Physics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and an M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics and Optimization from the University of Florida.
