Benedicte Bjorøy

Benedicte Bjorøy has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Benedicte is currently serving as the Chair of the board HR Norge Vest at HR Norge since November 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of HR at Gearbulk starting from December 2020. Benedicte was a Member of the Board at WISTA Norway from July 2018 to July 2022. From April 2017 to August 2020, they held the position of VP HR & Organisational Development at Shearwater GeoServices. Before that, they worked as the HR & Crew Manager at CGG Eidesvik Ship Management from August 2013 to April 2017. Benedicte also has a significant experience with Seadrill where they served in multiple roles including HR Manager Training, Development and Resourcing - Corporate, HR Manager Asia/Africa, HR Leader Asia - located in China, and HR Manager China. Benedicte started their journey with Seadrill as an HR Coordinator in April 2006.

Benedicte Bjorøy completed a Master's degree in Human Resource Management at Griffith University in 2005. In 2014 and 2015, they attended the AFF program at Solstrandprogrammet for yngre ledere, but their field of study is not specified. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Service Management from BI Norwegian Business School between 2001 and 2004.
