Pete Karanikas

Pete Karanikas has a extensive work experience in various leadership and technical roles. In their most recent position as Chief Operating Officer at GearLaunch, they oversee the company's operations. Prior to that, Pete served as the Co-Founder and President of Wave Crest Financial LLC, where they focused on providing financial solutions to Federal IT and Defense contractors. Pete also worked as the COO and Portfolio CEO at Frost Data Capital, a venture capital fund and incubator specializing in big data and predictive analytics. Before that, Pete was a Co-Founder, Senior Vice President, and General Manager at Avrio Technology Group, an electronics manufacturer. Additionally, they founded and served as President of Panos Corporation, a software engineering professional services firm. Pete began their career as a Principle Engineer at Oracle and later worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at SAIC. Their expertise lies in areas such as operations management, finance, venture capital, and software engineering.

Pete Karanikas completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Accounting and Finance at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology at the University of Pittsburgh, which they completed from 1993 to 1997.
