Lori Mitchell

Lori Mitchell is an experienced educator with a diverse background in counseling and social studies instruction. Currently serving as a Social Studies Teacher at Geary County USD 475 since November 2020, Lori has previously held positions such as K-12 Gifted Facilitator at USD 320 Special Services Cooperative and College & Career Readiness Counselor at USD 383. Additionally, Lori has extensive experience as a Professional School Counselor at both USD 501 and USD 378, as well as roles focusing on drug and alcohol education. Lori's educational credentials include a BSE in Secondary Education from The University of Kansas, an MS in Counselor Education from Emporia State University, and endorsements in Gifted Education and School Leadership from Emporia State University and Baker University, respectively.
