Mario Cunha has extensive experience in leadership and management roles across various companies in the manufacturing and engineering sectors. Currently serving as the Managing Director at Geberit since May 2020, Mario previously held positions such as Industrial Director at Amorim & Irmãos, S.A., Executive & Life Coach and Lean Consultant at MC, and Plant Manager at Schaeffler Portugal. Additional roles include Chairman of the Management Board at Schaeffler Portugal and Board Member at NERLEI. Mario's professional foundation is supported by a Mechanical Engineering degree from Instituto Superior Técnico, Lean Management certifications, and ongoing training in coaching. Demonstrated expertise includes production management, technology transfer, and process optimization, with a strong emphasis on lean methodologies.
