Leonor Ardiles

Leonor Ardiles currently serves as a New Business Development Specialist Coordinator at BASF, a position held since 2011, and previously held the role of New Business Development Coordinator. Additionally, since January 2021, Leonor is a Sales & Technical Account Manager for Women in Mining Chile (WIM Chile) and actively participates as a member. Leonor also has been a member of the Hydroprocess Technical Committee at Gecamin since March 2010. Prior experience includes working as a Technical Consultant at Cognis from 2003 to 2011, specializing in technical service for mining-related projects, and as a Process Engineer at Compañía Minera Xstrata Lomas Bayas from 1998 to 2001. Leonor holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor’s in Chemistry with a focus on Extractive Metallurgy and a Civil Engineering degree in Metallurgy from Universidad Católica del Norte and Universidad Arturo Prat, respectively. Further education includes a course in Green Hydrogen from Continua Soluciones and a postgraduate degree in Environmental Studies.
