Nia Perkins

Nia Perkins is an experienced professional in the field of robotics and engineering, currently serving as Robotics Deployment Lead at Geek+ since October 2023, focusing on autonomous mobile robots. Prior to this role, Nia worked as an Electrical Engineer at United Controls International from April 2022 to October 2023, specializing in procurement engineering. Nia's earlier experience includes teaching as a TEFL/Science Instructor at Francis Parker Collegiate from March 2020 to August 2021 and serving as a Robotics Specialist at the Southeastern Center of Robotics Education from January 2017 to February 2020. Nia holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Auburn University, where studies were completed from 2016 to 2019, and attended Alabama State University from 2012 to 2016.
