Baker's work experience dates back to 2001 and includes roles such as Project Manager and ATIC Lead at GaN Corporation, Program Manager II and Field Service Representative at Alion Science and Technology, Chief of Training and Exercises at US Army, and Senior Operations Officer at US Army, Multinational Corps in Iraq. Their early career started as an Action Officer at The Joint Staff, J35, where they were responsible for the development of current and future readiness reporting systems.
Michael Baker earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in 1983, and a Master of Science in Administration with a focus on Health Services Administration at Central Michigan University between 1995 and 1997.
