Kate Surman

Kate Surman is an experienced athlete and physiotherapist currently playing for the Geelong Cats in the AFLW since May 2023. Kate has a strong background in physiotherapy, working with Encara as a Residential Aged Care Physio since January 2021 and holding a part-time contract at TLC Healthcare while pursuing sports. Previous athletic experience includes playing for Port Adelaide FC and the Gold Coast SUNS. In the field of physiotherapy, Kate's career includes roles at Sports & Spinal Physio and Back In Motion Health Group. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Physiotherapy from The University of Queensland and a Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of Ballarat.
