Shannon Byrnes

Shannon Byrnes is an experienced professional in player development and sports commentary, currently serving as the Player Development Manager at Geelong Cats since November 2021. Prior to this role, Shannon held the same position at Melbourne Football Club from November 2012 to October 2021 and played as a footballer for both clubs. Additional experience includes providing special commentary on AFL for K rock Geelong and working as a Teachers Aide at Wanganui Park Secondary College, where assistance was given to the physical education program.
