Abey Varughese

Abey Varughese is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data platforms and engineering, currently serving as the Head of Data Platforms & Engineering-Data & Analytics at GE Healthcare, where responsibilities include directing the design and construction of a next-generation cloud-based data platform. Abey has held multiple leadership roles across GE, including Principal Architect in Data & Analytics at GE Digital, where significant achievements included architecting the company's first Data Lake on the cloud. Earlier positions at GE Aviation and GE involved technical advisement and the architecture of scalable distributed systems using big data technologies.
