Brett Merriam

Brett is a Project manager and Urban Designer whose expertise merges open space design, citizen engagement strategy, and equitable community development. Valuing empathy and inclusivity as the most vital ingredients in successful, uplifting urban transformations, Brett sees design as a means to make everyday life more enjoyable and just for all. He is trained in placemaking, public realm management, and urban policy, and committed to community-driven planning. He values visual narratives, map-making, and interdisciplinary collaboration to build actionable and compelling strategies. Brett holds a Master in Urban Planning with distinction from Harvard Graduate School of Design.
