As Director, Rasmus works on developing and overseeing projects among others in China and Germany. Having lived and worked for more than 12 years in Shanghai, he has an in-depth understanding of the cultural and societal context of Gehl projects in the region and is well experienced in applying the ‘people first approach’ to his work in Chinese cities. Furthermore, he has lived and worked in Bremen and has experience in developing projects and partnerships throughout Germany. Rasmus holds a Bachelor in Cultural Encounters, a Master’s degree in Strategic Urban Planning from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture and a Master’s degree from Shanghai’s Fudan University in International Politics and Public Affairs.
