Damon Burrell is the Chief Marketing Officer at Geico. Damon was previously with The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. from April 2016 to April 2022, where they held the position of SVP, CMO – North America / SVP Global Marketing. Damon was hired to help lead global digital transformation and created the company’s first upskilling curriculum for digital marketers. Damon also enhanced data capabilities, drove strategic marketing initiatives across 14 brands spanning 130+ countries, and was selected for the top North America marketing role after three years.

At Viacom, Damon served as the SVP Brand Marketing & Franchise Management for the Kids and Family Portfolio from February 2014 to March 2016. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all aspects of brand marketing and franchise management for Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., TeenNick, and NickToons.

Damon Burrell has completed an Executive Leadership Development Program through the University of California, Los Angeles. Damon also holds a B.S. in Economics and Marketing from the University of Iowa.

Damon Burrell reports to Todd Combs, CEO. They are on a team with Shannon Hobbs - Chief People Officer, Bruce Carthon - President, and Carl Tims - VP, Chief Diversity Officer.
