Sahid J. Jaffa

Sahid J. Jaffa is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and architecture, currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at GEICO since January 2014. In this role, Sahid leads the architectural design and engineering of GEICO’s hardware infrastructure and private cloud ecosystem, fostering the development of secure and scalable technology platforms. Previous positions include Senior Director of Software Engineering, where Sahid led a team of Enterprise Architects to innovate user-centric tech platforms, and Director of Software Engineering, responsible for a hybrid multi-cloud strategy. With a foundational career in IT systems consultancy across various organizations and a strong educational background in Information Technology and Computer Science from Teesside University and the University of Malta, Sahid is recognized for driving high-impact projects and enhancing IT infrastructure in dynamic business environments.
