Shemyla Anwar

Shemyla Anwar is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology industry. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of Engineering at GEICO, Shemyla previously held the position of Senior Director at Expedia Group. At Amazon, Shemyla led engineering for the Alexa Auto Skills Kit and managed Alexa Custom Assistants and Interop. Additional experience includes roles as Software Engineering Manager and Software Engineer II at Microsoft, where Shemyla served as Project Lead and had a significant impact on software development. Shemyla also contributes to the community as a volunteer Director for the Society of Women Engineers.
