Matthew E. Hoeger

Matthew E. Hoeger is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in revenue management and compliance. Currently serving as the Director of Revenue Integrity at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center since December 2015, Matthew oversees inpatient and outpatient coding operations, revenue capture, and denials management. Prior to this, Matthew held the position of Director of Revenue Management Compliance and Internal Controls at Geisinger Health System since August 2011, where an interim role as AVP of Coding and Revenue Capture was also undertaken. Matthew began the career at Evangelical Community Hospital from April 2004 to August 2011, serving as Chief Compliance Officer and Privacy Officer, as well as managing continuous quality improvement efforts. Education includes a Master of Business Administration from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.
