Manav Mehta

Manav Mehta has a wealth of work experience in engineering, research, and entrepreneurship. Manav began their career in 1999 as the Chief Technical Officer and Co-founder of NonStopSms. In 2000, they became a Software Engineer for SDI world. In 2002, they took on the role of Research Assistant for Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering at Syracuse University College of Engineering and Computer Science. In 2005, they became a Principal Investigator and Research Scientist at Charite - University Medicine Berlin. From 2011 to 2013, they were an Associate and Research Fellow at Harvard University. From 2013 to 2015, they were Manager of R&D Collaborations at 3-D Matrix, Inc. From 2015 to 2018, they were the Chief Executive Officer of Gel4Med, Inc. During that time, they also served as a Funding Review Advisory Panel-SBIR/STTR at the National Institutes of Health, a Funding Review Advisory Panel (Small and Medium Business Enterprises)- Eurostars-Eureka, and a Funding Review Advisory Panel- Innovation Fund Denmark projects.

Manav Mehta's education history includes a BE in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from National Institute of Engineering (1995-1999), an MS in Bioengineering from Syracuse University (2002-2005), a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin (2007-2010), and a Postdoctoral Research in Cell and Tissue Engineering using Biomaterials from Harvard University (2010-2012). Manav also obtained a certification in Medical Device Development from Harvard Catalyst Program, Harvard University in 2012. In 2014, they completed the Startup Leadership Program and Mini MBA - Harvard HBS&GSAS.
