Johanna Schmidgall

Johanna Schmidgall is an experienced professional in food technology and product development, currently serving as the Head of Global Technical Service & Product Development for Food & Collagen Peptide at GELITA since July 2015. In this role, Johanna leads application and new product development specifically for Nutrition and Health Ingredients. Previously, Johanna contributed to business development, research, and product development at Sternchemie from June 2014 to June 2015. Academic experience includes serving as teaching staff at the University of Applied Sciences Osnabrück, where responsibilities encompassed teaching various food technology subjects and supporting bachelor's and master's research projects. Johanna's academic background features a doctoral degree in Food Technology from Deutsches Institut für Lebensmitteltechnik e.V. in collaboration with TU-Berlin and a Diplom in Food Technology from Technische Universität Berlin.
