Sonia Renac

Sonia Renac has had a long and varied career in the corporate world. Sonia began their career in 2000 as a Marketing Manager for Solvay. Sonia then held two additional roles for Solvay in 2002, Business Development Manager, Pharmaceuticals and Head of Market Intelligence. In 2004, they moved to ISOCHEM SAS, where they were the Business Manager, Pharmaceuticals and was responsible for Europe zone, key account management, product and project management, and contract research development and manufacturing of APIs and regulated cGMP intermediates. In 2011, they returned to Solvay as the Global Vice President, Home and Personal Care, North America Market Director, Home and Personal Care, and North America Market Director, Novecare Coatings. In 2020, they moved to Zymergen as the Senior Vice President, Product Innovation and Senior Vice President, Consumer Care. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Geltor as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and General Manager - Beauty and Personal care.

Sonia Renac completed an MBA in Management and Administration of Enterprises from IAE FRANCE - Écoles Universitaires de Management between 1998 and 1999. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science in Chemistry-Chemical Engineering from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Montpellier between 1995 and 1998.
