Chris Nicol is an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions, currently working at SMART Technologies since July 2010. Responsibilities include the development of hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Previously served as a Firmware Engineer at the same company, contributing to firmware and diagnostic tools for educational technologies. Chris has also worked as an Electronics Contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, designing and repairing educational devices, and as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary, assisting in laboratory sessions and assessments. Early career experience includes the role of Electronics Engineer at Grindcom, focusing on circuit design and control systems for the forestry industry.
