Arjen van Hofwegen

Arjen van Hofwegen is a seasoned professional in civil engineering with extensive experience in project preparation and design. Currently serving as a senior werkvoorbereider civiel at Gemeente Almelo since May 2021, Arjen previously worked as a Civieltechnisch Specialist and owner of Civieltechnisch Bureau Hofwegen, where responsibilities included creating civil engineering drawings, designs, calculations, and providing technical advice. Prior to that, Arjen held various roles at Yacht from July 2001 to April 2021, focusing on project leadership and preparation at the municipality of Almelo and served as a designer for the municipality of Arnhem. Arjen began a career in civil engineering as a calculator/werkvoorbereider at P+H Timmerhuis weg- & waterbouw and holds degrees in civil engineering from HAN University of Applied Sciences and ROC Oost Nederland.
