Dita Kraan has extensive experience in the socio-political domain, currently serving as a senior policy advisor at Gemeente Almelo since April 2006, where the coordination of the integral policy plan for transitions was successfully managed, resulting in the municipality council recognizing the plan "Samen Mee(r) Doen" as the best proposal of 2014. Previously, Dita held the position of project leader for integration, focusing on mixed participation and intercultural accessibility within Almelo, and was involved in the creation of the first Wmo policy plan as a policy officer. Earlier in Dita's career, experience included a role as a policy officer at gemeente Oldenzaal from 1993 to 1998. Dita Kraan holds a Pedagogical Didactic Diploma from Saxion University of Applied Sciences, a master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Twente, and completed secondary education with an Alpha diploma at Gymnasium Leiden.
