Kimber Miedema

Kimber Miedema currently serves as Adviseur Erfgoed at Gemeente Almelo and has a diverse background in historical research and urban development. With experience as a Beeldredacteur and Webredacteur at sKBL, Kimber collaborates on promoting historic estates and enhancing community ties among owners. Additionally, as a Trainee Milieu & Duurzaamheid at Wyzer, Kimber focuses on the sustainability of built heritage. Previous roles include Historicus at Stichting In Arcadië, where Kimber conducted research on green heritage, and various contributions to student housing organizations, including Founding Member and Board Member of Huurdersvereniging De Eerste Kamer. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Art History with a focus on Architecture and Monument Care from Utrecht University and Bachelor's degrees in Art History from Leiden University and Building Engineering from The Hague University of Applied Sciences.
