Merijn van der Vinne

Merijn van der Vinne serves as an Adviseur ruimtelijke ontwikkeling at Gemeente Almelo since September 2022. Previously, Merijn held the role of Planoloog team Centrum/Noord at Gemeente Den Haag from June 2021 to August 2022, focusing on Wabo advisering planologie and contributing to the development of bestemmingsplannen. Prior experience includes working as a Planoloog at Stadsdeel West Gemeente Amsterdam and as a Beleidsadviseur RO/Economie at Maandag®, where Merijn was seconded as a planoloog at gemeente Amsterdam. A VNG Trainee from March 2018 to March 2020, Merijn completed various assignments for government agencies alongside personal development training. Earlier positions include Beleidsadviseur Economie at Gemeente Hilversum and other advisory roles at Gemeente Wijdemeren and Gemeente Almelo. Merijn's academic background consists of a Master of Science in Economische geografie and a Bachelor of Science in Sociale Geografie en Planologie, both from the University of Groningen.
