Marco Out

Marco Out has extensive experience in leadership and governance roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Chair of the Supervisory Board at SportDrenthe since 2021, Marco advocates for sports interests in Drenthe. As of 2017, Marco has been the Chair of the Stichting Houdstermaatschappij Aandelen FC Groningen, overseeing the foundation's management of FC Groningen's shares. Additionally, Marco has held the position of Mayor of Assen since December 2014 and is the Chair of Veiligheidsregio Drenthe since 2016. Previous roles include leadership positions in local municipalities and organizations dedicated to regional sports and safety. Marco's educational background includes studies at the University of Groningen and Hanze.
