Denise Coenegracht

Denise Coenegracht is an experienced professional specializing in social affairs, specifically focusing on migrant integration, literacy improvement, and inclusivity. Currently serving as a Policy Adviser for the Municipality of Asten since March 2022, Denise has previously contributed as a Project Associate with the Association of Netherlands Municipalities (VNG) from January 2020 to February 2022, implementing the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities at the municipal level. Additional experience includes teaching roles in English and as a casual relief teacher in Australia, alongside project-based positions such as Programme Associate at the African Diaspora Policy Centre. Denise holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Arts in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Leiden University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and European Studies from the University of Amsterdam.
