Derk van Dijken

Derk van Dijken serves as Bestuurssecretaris & Strategisch Adviseur at Gemeente Dalfsen since May 2022. Prior to this, Derk worked as Secretaris at DOWR from March 2020 to May 2022, where DOWR functions as a collaborative partnership among the municipalities of Deventer, Olst-Wijhe, and Raalte. Derk has a substantial background with Gemeente Olst-Wijhe from May 2009 to May 2022 as Bestuursadviseur, supporting the municipal secretary and governing council in decision-making processes, and held various roles including Adviseur Projectmanagement en Advies and member of the Ondernemingsraad. Derk's earlier experience includes engagements with multiple municipalities in project coordination and advisory roles related to land use and rural development, complemented by educational credentials from Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences and Bestuursacademie Nederland.
