Marina Starmans

Marina Starmans currently serves as the Burgemeester of gemeente Etten-Leur since September 2023 and holds the position of Voorzitter at Stichting Herdenking Brabants Gesneuvelden and Zorgbelang Brabant|Zeeland since 2022 and 2017 respectively. Experience includes leadership roles as Burgemeester of gemeente Dongen from 2015 to September 2023, Wethouder in gemeente Waalre for one year in 2014-2015, and Wethouder in gemeente Dongen and gemeente Son en Breugel from 2011-2014 and 2006-2010 respectively. Prior to these roles, Marina Starmans worked as Secretaris van het Gerechtsbestuur at Rechtbank ‘s-Hertogenbosch and held various positions at TopStart from 1996 to 2004. Education includes a degree in Bestuurskunde from Erasmus University Rotterdam, completed in 1995.
