Anton Barske

Anton Barske is an experienced governance and policy advisor with a robust background in public administration, currently serving as the Chair of the RekenkamerZevenaar since September 2022. Barske is the owner of Barske Bestuurs- en Beleidsadvies BBA, providing tailored consultancy services to municipalities and safety regions in areas such as local democracy, strategy, safety, and governance management since June 2015. Additional roles include Chair of the Rekenkamercommissie for Gemeente Gooise Meren and Chair for Stichting Steunouder Gouda. Barske has held various mayoral positions, including in Gorinchem and Stein, where responsibilities encompassed regional cooperation, policy coordination, and crisis management. An alumnus of the University of Groningen with a degree in history, Barske has also pursued further education in governance.
