Robert van der Meer is currently serving as a Beleidsadviseur Biodiversiteit at Gemeente Gouda since August 2023. Previously, Robert worked as an Ecoloog at Mourik Infra B.V. from November 2022 to August 2023, and as an Administratief medewerker at SNEL Shared Logistics / G.SNEL from November 2020 to October 2022, where responsibilities included VOG-Nonfood tasks. Additionally, Robert contributed as an Ecoloog at Teia.nl from March 2021 to May 2022, primarily focusing on Gierzwaluw and bat projects. Robert also completed a research internship at Wageningen Marine Research in 2018, studying the Great Tern's feeding preferences and distribution. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Ecology and a Bachelor of Science in Forest and Nature Management from Wageningen University & Research, complemented by foundational education at Kalsbeek College.
