Stefan van Waarden

Stefan van Waarden is an experienced project leader in the fields of sustainability and energy efficiency. Currently serving as Projectleider Gouds Isolatieprogramma at Gemeente Gouda since April 2024, Stefan oversees projects aimed at insulation and energy poverty for diverse target groups while managing implementation plans and evaluations. Previously, Stefan held positions such as Project Leader Sustainability at Lybrae and Project Leader at the Department of Land Development & Real Estate for Provincie Limburg. Stefan's extensive background includes roles as a researcher for Politie Nederland, energy and sustainability consultant for Driven by Values, and process coordinator for buurkracht. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Sustainability Science and Policy from Maastricht University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Studies from HAS green academy.
