Jozanne van der Velden

Jozanne van der Velden currently serves as a member of the external appeals and complaints committee at Gemeente Horst aan de Maas and as chairperson of the complaints committee for unwanted behavior at VenloSupport. Since May 2021, Jozanne is employed as a senior jurist and senior advisor in legal control at Gemeente Peel en Maas. Additional roles include board member of Stichting Rampenfonds Limburg and member of the participation council at College Den Hulster. Previously, Jozanne held leadership positions such as chairperson of Stichting Oranjecomité Blerick, team coordinator for administrative-legal support at Gemeente Helmond, and faction leader and city councilor at Gemeente Venlo. With experience as a legal policy officer at gemeente Beesel and provincial states member in Limburg, Jozanne possesses a robust legal background. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Dutch Law from Maastricht University and Radboud University, complemented by various leadership training and masterclasses.
