Chantal Heinen

Chantal Heinen is an experienced professional in the fields of sports policy, recreation, and youth services, currently serving as Beleidsmedewerker sport en recreatie at Gemeente Huizen since April 2020. Previously, Chantal worked as a project and communication medewerker at SVOV, where responsibilities included facilitating travel for students using OV-chipkaarten and managing communications. Chantal's earlier roles included Beleidsadviseur voor jeugd, jeugdzorg en volksgezondheid at Gemeente Nijkerk, where collaboration and regional policy implementation were key focuses, and a similar role in sports policy. Chantal has also gained experience in recruitment at Randstad and worked in broad sports initiatives at Sportbedrijf Arnhem. Chantal holds a Master of Arts in Sportbeleid en sportmanagement from Utrecht University and a Master’s degree in Leisure Studies from Tilburg University, supplemented by education at universities in Sydney and Amsterdam.
