Johan van Kampen

Johan van Kampen is a seasoned archaeologist currently serving as the Gemeentelijk archeoloog for Gemeente Land van Cuijk since January 2022. With extensive experience in various archaeological roles, Johan previously worked as Projectleider and Senior KNA archeoloog at VUhbs archeologie from October 2010 to July 2023. Additional roles include Senior KNA archeoloog at Gemeente Cuijk (February 2021 - December 2021) and various positions at VUhbs archeologie from March 2003 to October 2010, including Senior Veldmedewerker and Veldmedewerker. Johan began the professional journey as a Veldmedewerker at Bureau Archeologie en Monumenten Nijmegen (June 2002 - March 2003) after earning a Master of Arts degree in Archeology from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in 2008.
