Sander van Den Burg

Sander van den Burg has extensive experience in information security and engineering, currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Gemeente Nijkerk since March 2005, where responsibilities include implementing and overseeing information security policies and reporting to management. Previous roles include System/Network Engineer at webservers.nl from June 2016 to August 2023, Technical Information Security Officer (TISO) at Gemeente Veenendaal from February 2023 to July 2023, and Hoofdbrandwacht at Brandweer Nijkerk from March 2003 to January 2015. Sander also worked as a System/Network Engineer at MDIS from April 2000 to February 2007. Education was completed at Montessori College.
