Lia de Vries CTPP is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in privacy management and local governance. Currently serving as a member of the municipal council at Gemeente Hollands Kroon since April 2022 and as a Privacy Officer at Gemeente Opmeer since October 2021, Lia has a background in data protection, having held various roles including Privacy Officer at PriVad and in training at Stichting Katholiek Onderwijs West-Friesland and Stichting Allure. Previous experience includes managerial and coordinator roles in childcare and educational organizations, and a position as a policy advisor in economic affairs and tourism at Gemeente Zijpe. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Management, Law, and Economics from HEAO Alkmaar, along with further training in privacy management.
