Ben Timmers

Ben Timmers has over two decades of experience in policy development and management, primarily within the healthcare and social services sectors. Currently serving as a beleidsmedewerker maatschappelijke ontwikkeling at Gemeente Peel en Maas since November 2007, Timmers focuses on developments in education, childcare, youth healthcare, and preventive youth policy. Prior to this role, Timmers held various leadership positions, including divisiemanager at Savant, where operational efficiencies were achieved for home care services, and team manager for wijkverpleging at de Zorgboog, shaping regional healthcare policies. Timmers also has a background as an organization advisor at Koraal Groep and served as a beleidsmedewerker at ZuidZorg, where major internal reorganizations were implemented. Timmers holds a degree in Health Sciences with a focus on policy and management from Maastricht University.
