Jan-Govert van Gilst is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainability and project management. Currently serving as Program Manager for Sustainability and Energy Transition at Gemeente Ridderkerk, Jan-Govert focuses on integrating sustainability into standard practices. As the Founder and CEO of Vybrant, Jan-Govert leads international projects centered on Nature-Based Solutions and sustainable development. Additionally, Jan-Govert is a cooperative member at Noorderwind, mentoring circular startups. Previous roles include founding Vibers, which produces sustainable materials, and holding various positions in municipal government, including Program Manager for Sustainability in Capelle aan den IJssel and City Council Member in Hellevoetsluis.
