Loek Ernst

Loek Ernst has extensive experience in education and community involvement. Currently serving as a member of the Gebiedscommissie Prins Alexander at Gemeente Rotterdam since April 2014, Loek focuses on outdoor spaces in the Prins Alexander area. Active in the D66 Dutch Democratic Party since March 2009, Loek is also on the electoral list for the district council in Rotterdam-Alexanderpolder. Since September 2004, Loek has held various teaching positions at Albeda College, specializing in citizenship education for MBO level 1 and 2 students, and mentoring classes of non-native speakers. Prior to this, Loek developed course materials and taught returnees at Stichting IVIO in 1995, and rose from sales specialist to branch manager at ECI from 1976 to 1995. Educational credentials include completion of economic subjects at Heilige Familie from 1965 to 1969 and MULO B including middle management from Heilige Familie in The Hague from 1961 to 1965.
