Jan de Vries

Jan de Vries is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in governance and leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Vicevoorzitter at Smart Delta Drechtsteden and Burgemeester at Gemeente Sliedrecht since April 2021, Jan is also an active member of the Economic Development Board Drechtsteden and the board of Het Juridisch Loket, advocating for a just society. Previous positions include leadership roles in the Leger des Heils, Protestantse Kerk in Nederland, and Trouw, focusing on social welfare, legal positions of church officials, and the promotion of Christian media.
