Gijs Willems

Gijs Willems is an experienced professional in spatial planning, currently serving as a Planoloog at Ordito since December 2017 and concurrently holding the position of Projectleider and Projectmedewerker for the revision of the zoning plan for the rural area in the Gemeente Someren. Prior to these roles, Gijs completed internships at Deltares, focusing on research for a master's thesis, and at Waterschap Brabantse Delta, where contributions were made to the water management plan and future vision for navigation in West-Brabant. Gijs gained valuable experience during an internship with the Gemeente Breda, participating in the development of the structural vision for 2030 while also investigating the spatial implications of changes in elderly care. Gijs holds a Master of Science in Planologie from Radboud University and a Bachelor in Built Environment, specializing in spatial planning, from Breda University of Applied Sciences.
