Melissa Westerbos

Melissa Westerbos is a seasoned policy advisor specializing in spatial development, currently serving at Gemeente Uithoorn since February 2022. Previous experience includes roles at Bender Groep as a policy officer and project leader in housing construction, where project leadership of De Groene Akkers was a key responsibility. At HLTsamen, Melissa contributed to major projects in Lisse as a project employee and junior project leader, while a temporary assignment for the municipality of Heerhugowaard focused on developing a city marketing strategy. Earlier roles at Ymere included supporting rental processes and managing communications through webcare services. Melissa holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Amsterdam, complemented by a VWO diploma from Alkwin Kollege in Uithoorn.
